Latvian companies, despite the sanctions, continue to supply russian military-industrial enterprises with microcircuits, which, in particular, are used for the production of Iskander ballistic missiles.
According to investigators, the products of the Riga Plant of Semiconductor Devices (RPSD) of Alfa were imported into russia, among other things. This company has a branch in russia, Alfa LLC, which, however, did not import Riga microchips. According to investigators, these goods were imported into russia by two companies until February 2022: LLC "Company Lesta-M" and LLC "Alfa-LR".
After the outbreak of a full-scale war, Lesta-M remained among the importers that purchased chips from RPSD. Its only counterparties now include the Riga-based ALFA RPAR and two probably Chinese firms: Dalian Stella Trading Co. Ltd and Liaoning Jinhechuang Logistics Co. Ltd.
Investigators emphasize that in less than a year of hostilities, they purchased $1.7 million worth of products from RPAR. Lesta-M supplied the microchips received from these companies to enterprises of the russian military-industrial complex.
