According to the publication, the accounts of Moldova Mare (‘Great Moldova’) party leader Victoria Furtune at FinComBank have been blocked again.
‘The tax service froze the accounts after receiving notifications from the banks. The parties may appeal these decisions in court within 30 days of receiving the notification,’ the statement said.
It is noted that on 1 August, the tax service blocked the bank accounts of Chance party leader Alexei Lungu, Moldova Mare (Great Moldova) party leader Victoria Furtune and fugitive MP Alexander Nesterovsky.
All three are linked to fugitive oligarch Ilan Shor and are on the European Union's sanctions list for actions aimed at destabilising Moldova.
