This was announced by the Swiss Federal Council.
It is noted that the government's decision further tightens export restrictions on goods that could strengthen russian industry and contribute to russia's military and technological development.
Export restrictions now apply to additional goods, including chemical components for fuel, as well as certain metals and plastics.
At the same time, the Federal Council has introduced a new administrative mechanism to strengthen the effectiveness of measures to combat the circumvention of anti-corruption measures through third countries.
In addition, the government has added 22 more banks to the list of 23 financial institutions subject to sanctions.
The Federal Council also approved a ban on imports of petroleum products of russian origin from third countries and prohibited transactions involving the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 pipelines, effectively blocking the completion, maintenance, operation or any future use of these pipelines." Certain exceptions apply, for example, for regular maintenance to prevent safety or environmental risks.
In addition, Switzerland has decided to fully align itself with all restrictive measures in the EU's 18th package of sanctions against Belarus.
