Since Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the Russian Elites Task Force (REPO) has frozen more than £48 billion of Russian assets around the world. The United Kingdom, which has frozen over £18 billion, is leading the way in this process. The UK's Security Secretary, Tom Tugendhat, stressed that the country continues to fight Russia's aggression alongside international allies, including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United States and the European Commission.

The Task Force is working to bring unprecedented financial pressure to bear on Russia and its elites, joining forces to defend global democracy and fight authoritarianism.
