Hungary serves as a hub for Russian companies under sanctions

The international intelligence community InformNapalm, together with the Militant Intelligence group, gained access to documents of Russian corporations linked to Russia's defense industry as part of a joint cyber operation. Some data indicate military-technical cooperation between Budapest and Moscow after 2014.

“Under Viktor Orbán's leadership, Hungary, despite its status as a NATO and EU member state, has effectively become a hub for Russian defense companies, diplomats, and special services, which use it to promote Russia's interests in Europe,” according to an InformNapalm investigation published on July 31.
