G7: Russian assets will be frozen until the end of the war and compensation for damages

The finance ministers of the G7 countries have agreed not to unfreeze Russian assets that were frozen after the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine until Moscow stops its aggression against our state.

In a communiqué agreed upon at the summit, G7 officials stressed that Russian money will remain frozen in accounts until the Kremlin ends the war and compensates Ukraine for the damage caused by its military actions.

The ministers noted the resilience of the Ukrainian economy amid the destruction the country has suffered as a result of the large-scale war.
