The 18th package of EU sanctions may include third-country banks involved in supporting the Russian army

The 18th package of European Union sanctions against Russia, which is already being worked on in the EU, may include restrictions on banks outside the EU that support the Russian defense industry and army, in addition to Russian banks.

Banks in third countries that cooperate with companies involved in supporting Russia's defense industry and supplying the army may be included in the EU's 18th package of sanctions against Russia.

“The 18th package of sanctions against Russia is expected to include restrictive measures against Russian banks and banks in third countries that support Russia's military machine.”
