The European Union has not yet reached a consensus on extending sanctions against Russia, which must be renewed by the EU Council in June this year. If this happens, the EU may lose control over previously frozen Russian assets.
This was announced by Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna ahead of an informal meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council in Warsaw.
