At the suit of the Ministry of Justice, the assets of OJSC Beloruskali were recovered for the benefit of the state

On 9 April, the court ruled in favour of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, satisfying the claim to recover the assets of the sanctioned enterprise Belaruskali OJSC into the state's revenue. The company, which is a leading producer of potash fertilisers in Belarus, was involved in financing the war against Ukraine through cooperation with Russian military-industrial complex enterprises and support for the occupation administrations of the DPR and LPR. In addition, the company participated in organising events that support Russia's policy of denying the right of Ukrainians to self-identification.

According to the court's decision, more than 70,000 tonnes of potassium chloride, cash worth more than UAH 250 million, 1,545 railway cars and 48% of the charter capital of AGROROZVIT LLC were recovered for the state. The company is deprived of the right to compensation for the value of the expropriated property. The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine expressed gratitude to the intelligence and anti-corruption agencies for their cooperation. The court decision may be appealed.
