Lithuania to auction confiscated trucks and fire trucks from Belarus

Lithuania will auction off trucks and fire trucks that were confiscated due to sanctions evasion. Lithuanian Prosecutor General Nida Grunskene said that the decision to sell 17 milk trucks and 17 fire trucks has already been made and is final.

These vehicles were detained in the Lithuanian port city of Klaipeda in 2023. The milk trucks were intended for Cuba and the fire trucks for Zimbabwe. Grunskene expressed her hope that these vehicles would be purchased and transferred to Ukraine, noting that Ukraine needs them badly.
