Frozen Russian assets cannot be used now - Macron

French President Emmanuel Macron commented on the use of frozen Russian assets. In his opinion, this cannot be done now.

According to Macron, the frozen Russian assets could be part of the reconstruction fund. According to the French president, it is not possible to use these assets now. However, they should contribute to the reconstruction of Ukraine, in accordance with the agreements that will be approved as part of the peace agreement.

Macron notes that the use of frozen Russian assets is ‘a question that will arise over time’.
