EU prepares 17th package of sanctions against Russia

The European Union has started working on the 17th package of sanctions against the Russian Federation. But the process is still at a very early stage.

According to one diplomat, the EU is currently awaiting proposals from the European Commission.

Another source confirmed that the EU's foreign policy service and the EC are working on sanctions and that proposals are likely to be presented in early summer.
