British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz will continue to explore options for using frozen russian assets.

This is stated in a joint statement by the leaders of the countries following their negotiations.

"We are determined to work together and, with the help of the G7 group, to put significant pressure on russia's revenues from energy and other sectors," the text says.

The leaders are also ready to work to ensure compliance with anti-russian sanctions and combat sanctions evasion.

They will also "explore options for using frozen russian sovereign assets to support Ukraine" in accordance with the legal systems of Britain and Germany, as well as international law.
