Croatia decides to hand over Medvedchuk's seized yacht to Ukraine

The District Court of Split (Croatia) has ruled to transfer the Royal Romance vessel to Ukraine based on a request for international legal assistance.

The National Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) is preparing to re-inspect the asset in preparation for its sale.

The sale of this lot will be the first example of the sale of seized assets located abroad.

"Regarding media reports about the departure of Medvedchuk's seized yacht Royal Romance. The main thing is not to panic. ARMA is keeping the matter under special control and has reliable data that the seized yacht temporarily set sail on January 25, 2024 to confirm its technical capability, buoyancy and engine operation," said ARMA Head Olena Duma.
