The Czech Financial and Analytical Center (FAÚ) has frozen the assets of one of the largest arms manufacturers, Boris Obnosov, and his son-in-law, Rostislav Zorikov. Obnosov is the head of the Russian defense holding Tactical Rocketry and advises the Russian government on missile construction. The pro-Russian family's real estate holdings include 14 apartment buildings and Zorikov's stake in a private company. The total value of the property amounts to more than 166 million hryvnia. Earlier, the FAU had already blocked Zorikov's real estate rental company Riomax.

It is known that the decisive action was prompted by the inclusion of Obnosov and Zorikov in the Czech Republic's sanctions list. The Czech government is committed to bringing to justice all those involved in Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine, said Prime Minister Petr Fiala.
