This was announced by Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna on social media, according to Ukrinform.
"Estonia has banned the first 261 russian militants who participated in the aggressive war against Ukraine from entering the country, and this is only the beginning. Hundreds of thousands of fighters from the aggressor state took part in this brutal war, committing atrocities and sowing violence. They have no place in Estonia or the Schengen area," the head of the Estonian Foreign Ministry stressed.
According to Tsahkna, Estonia will continue to work to ‘keep the door closed to former russian combatants.’
He also called on other countries to take similar steps.
