France has frozen the mansions of Russian billionaires

The French authorities have published a list of 41 properties owned by sanctioned Russian citizens that have been frozen since Russia's invasion of Ukraine. France estimates the total value of these properties at nearly $620 million.
31 of these properties belong to eight sanctioned Russian billionaires. This list includes the $250 million Château de la Croë estate in Antibes on the French Riviera and the $90 million estate in the luxurious Caribbean territory of St. Barthelemy, both owned by Roman Abramovich.
Estimated value of frozen real estate:
Roman Abramovich - $340 million;
Viktor Rashnikov - $200 million;
Oleksandr Ponomarenko - $176 million;
Andriy Melnichenko - $80 million;
Arkady Rotenberg - $62 million;
Alexey Kuzmichev - $57 million;
Vadym Moskovych - $6 million.
