Bill No. 8038 on the transfer of frozen assets of the russian federation to Ukraine received the required number of votes to be passed by the US House of Representatives.

It was supported by 360 lawmakers, with 58 opposed.

The bill, titled "The 21st Century Peace Through Strength Act," addresses national security priorities, including sanctions against Iran, the seizure of frozen russian sovereign assets, and measures that could lead to a nationwide ban on TikTok.

Ukraine could receive almost eight billion dollars as part of this procedure. But now the bill must be approved by the US Senate.
