This was announced by Presidential Commissioner for Sanctions Policy Vladyslav Vlasiuk.
According to Vlasiuk, the Ministry of Economy and Industry of Japan confirmed that more than 300 machines manufactured by Tsugami disappeared after being sold to seven Chinese companies.
About 30 of these machines have already been found in russia.
Japan has ordered Tsugami to terminate contracts with the intermediaries involved.
The company will stop supporting the machines already sold in russia, and cooperation with other suspicious Chinese partners will also be terminated.
Another investigation concerned Ferrotec, a company that supplies chemicals and tools. Its CEO is a Chinese citizen.
The investigation confirmed that Ferrotec’s products were supplied to russian military-industrial enterprises, including Epiel, Mikron, Vimpel, and others.
In April, some of these contracts were terminated, and further deliveries were placed under constant monitoring.
Earlier, russian media reported that Japan’s Tsugami had received excessive sales profits due to russia’s invasion of Ukraine: the volume of its equipment supplies to russia has increased more than 20 times since Liutyi 2022.
