This is stated in a Norwegian government statement, according to European pravda.
The new EU sanctions imposed by Norway apply to nearly 200 ships from the ‘shadow fleet’ that Russia uses to sell oil, as well as individuals and entities that assist the Russian military complex.
‘The sanctions are a signal that Norway and the EU are continuing to put pressure on Russia,’ Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide emphasised.
He called Norway's joining the sanctions ‘an important contribution to Europe's collective pressure on Russia for its illegal war of aggression.’
