Poland seized a russian oligarch's stake in the country's largest chemical concern

Minister of Development and Technology Waldemar Buda said that the ministry has appointed a temporary compulsory receiver of russian oligarch Vyacheslav Kantor's property in Grupa Azoty. "A new era is beginning. We are eliminating the presence of russians in the Polish economy," he said.

Poland will look for a partner to buy about 20 percent of the frozen shares in Grupa Azoty. 

Kantor is under EU sanctions since March 2022.
