Switzerland has joined the 14th package of European sanctions against russia in response to russia's ongoing military aggression against Ukraine.
We will remind, on June 24, the EU adopted new measures against russia within the framework of the 14th package of sanctions.
For its part, Switzerland is imposing sanctions within its jurisdiction on another 69 individuals and 86 legal entities.
The new sanctions are aimed at businessmen, propagandists, representatives of the armed forces and the judicial system, persons responsible for the deportation of Ukrainian children, and employees of the FSS.
Among the organizations that have come under sanctions again are, in particular, companies working in the russian defense sector, as well as companies in the financial and trade sectors that are actively involved in circumventing sanctions.
In total, more than 2,200 individuals and legal entities were included in the sanctions lists.
