This is stated in the communiqué of ministers adopted on 1 October, according to European Pravda.
The ministers noted that now is the time to maximise pressure on russian oil exports.
‘We will target those who continue to increase purchases of russian oil after the invasion of Ukraine, as well as those who facilitate the circumvention of restrictions,’ the communiqué said.
They also added that they agreed on the importance of trade measures, including tariffs and import and export bans, in their efforts to cut off russian revenues.
"We will take concrete measures to significantly reduce and eventually phase out our residual imports from russia, including hydrocarbons. We are also seriously considering trade measures and other restrictions on countries and entities that help finance russia's war effort, including on petroleum products made from russian oil," the communiqué added.
These actions will increase pressure on russia through coordinated economic and financial measures, the G7 ministers said.
