The Ministry of Justice filed a lawsuit to the HACCU to impose sanctions on Medvedchuk V. V. and Marchenko O. M.

The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine has filed a claim with the High Anti-Corruption Court to impose a sanction in the form of asset forfeiture to the state against Viktor Medvedchuk and Oksana Marchenko.

 

Viktor Medvedchuk is a citizen of Ukraine, pro-russian politician, statesman and public figure, businessman. Member of Parliament of Ukraine of the II-IV and IX convocations, one of the leaders of the banned OPPOSITION PLATFORM - FOR LIFE party. First Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada (February 2000 - December 2001), Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine during the term of Leonid Kuchma (2002-2005).

 

Marchenko O.M. is a citizen of Ukraine, former Ukrainian TV presenter, wife of Medvedchuk V.V.

 

Medvedchuk V.V. and Marchenko O.M. are close to the leadership of the russian federation, they are in personal friendly relations with the president of the russian federation, Putin V.V.

 

The Ministry of Justice has declared for recovery the property owned by V. Medvedchuk and O. Marchenko directly and indirectly (through individuals and legal entities). In particular, movable property (24 cars, 2 aircraft (Gulfstream G650 aircraft, Bell-427 helicopter), 1 pleasure boat (Azimut benetti spa, the name of the boat is Romance 1), real estate (more than 20 objects), corporate rights of 22 legal entities (regional power companies, TV channels, etc.), property rights to 8 trademarks, funds of Medvedchuk V. V. and O. M. Marchenko (equivalent to about UAH 1.9 million), more than 1000 items of historical, cultural and material values (watches, jewelry, paintings, sets, interior items, a railway restaurant car with furniture).
