The Ministry of Justice reported on the results of confiscation of assets of sanctioned persons

The Ministry of Justice has established that about 300 people have russian assets in Ukraine and there are grounds for imposing sanctions on them. To date, about 830 million hryvnias have been collected from unsanctioned persons alone.

 

Working on 11,000 sanctioned persons, the Ministry of Justice sent 16,000 requests and received 13,000 responses. According to the results of the analysis of this number of documents, it was established that about 300 people have assets in Ukraine and there are grounds for the application of the sanction of confiscation - said Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine Inna Bohatyh.

 

However, according to her, the work continues, so this figure may change.

 

Bogatyh also pointed out that out of these 300 people, about 30 can be considered as having significant assets.

 

So far, the Ministry of Justice has filed 53 lawsuits, 22 of them - regarding the application of sanctions against persons with significant assets. 42 decisions of the High Anti-Corruption Court entered into force.

 

As of today, about 830 million hryvnias have been collected in net cash, the right to claim for, including, compensation for seized funds - about 41 million hryvnias, corporate rights in 67 enterprises, 20 real estate objects (houses and apartments, including on TOT).
