The US imposes a new package of sanctions against russia

The United States imposed another package of sanctions against russia. The restrictions include 400 individuals and companies.
It is noted that the new restrictions affect, in particular, the energy, metallurgical and mining industries.
The following companies are subject to sanctions: Ekropromstroy LLC, a subsidiary of Novatek, which has been given 40% of Arctic LNG-2 LLC; Mezhregionstroy LLC, which builds facilities for Rosneft's Vostok Oil project; and Yakutsk Fuel and Energy Company (YTEK), responsible for the Yakutia LNG project.
Sanctions are also reportedly being imposed on russia's largest coal exporters: “SDS Ugol, Mechel Mining Management Company, Stroyservice JSC, and two subsidiaries of Rosatom.
The sanctions lists include russian military research institutes, manufacturers of unmanned aerial vehicles and electronics, as well as companies serving the needs of the russian military-industrial complex, along with their owners and management.
The sanctions targeted intermediaries from the UAE, Hong Kong, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and China who supplied microelectronics to russia in circumvention of the sanctions.
The sanctions apply to networks of entities involved in the supply of the russian military-industrial complex, including participants in the scheme of supplying Western components to the manufacturer of Sukhoi fighter jets.
The United States is also tightening export controls to russia and Belarus and restricting access to computer numerical control (CNC) software for companies in these countries.
The list of companies subject to strict export licensing requirements includes 131 companies from russia, China, Iran, Turkey, UAE, Kazakhstan, and other countries suspected of violating sanctions.
