The United Kingdom has imposed new sanctions against russia

The new sanctions target four individuals, six legal entities and 20 ships, including oil tankers, companies linked to the maritime industry and suppliers of goods to russia, including electronics.
The sanctions are aimed at individuals and companies that are involved or have been involved in destabilising, undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty or independence of Ukraine.
It is noted that the sanctions also target those who benefit from cooperation with or support the russian government.
In total, the United Kingdom has already imposed sanctions against more than 2,300 individuals, legal entities and ships as part of sanctions against russia since the russian federation's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
