This was reported by the British government.
The following entities are subject to sanctions:
4 oil terminals in China;
44 shadow fleet tankers transporting russian oil;
Indian company Nayara Energy Limited, which imported 100 million barrels of russian crude oil worth over $5 billion in 2024 alone;
8 specialised liquefied natural gas tankers and the Chinese Beihai LNG terminal. Beihai imports gas from Arctic LNG2, a russian project whose operations were hampered by British sanctions in February 2024.
To further restrict financial flows to the Kremlin, the UK has banned imports of petroleum products refined in third countries from russian crude oil.
Today's sanctions go beyond the oil sector — companies that supply electronics critical to russian drones and missiles are also subject to restrictions. These include companies in Thailand, Singapore, Turkey and China, among others.
