UK imposed sanctions on two russian oligarchs

The UK government added two russian oligarchs to the sanctions list, freezing their assets and imposing sanctions on trust services.
The sanctions list includes Andrey I. Melnichenko and Grigory V. Berezkin.
These individuals are subject to asset freezes, trust services sanctions, travel bans and transportation sanctions.
Andriy Melnychenko is the main beneficiary of the international fertilizer producer Eurochem and the coal and energy company SUEK. Both companies are among the world's largest in their respective industries. He is a member of the boards of directors of both companies.
Under personal sanctions by the EU since 2022 due to russia's aggression against Ukraine.
Grigory Berezkin is an oligarch close to russian dictator Vladimir Putin. He is the owner of the USN group of companies engaged in the oil industry, electricity, media and venture capital investments.
In addition to the UK, he is already under sanctions from Canada, Australia, Switzerland, and Ukraine.
