The American company Eleview International Inc. and two of its executives are accused of exporting American technology to russia in violation of sanctions. It is specified that from March 2022 to June 2023, the company sent American goods and technologies to russia through Kazakhstan, Turkey, and Finland. It was worth millions of dollars.

The company's Virginia-based executives, 54-year-old Oleg Nayandin and 39-year-old Vitaliy Borysenko, appeared in federal court in the Eastern District of Virginia on November 4, where they are accused of conspiring to violate export control laws.

According to the Assistant Secretary of Justice for National Security Matt Olsen, the suspects, whose nationality has not been disclosed, “used three evasion schemes to circumvent export restrictions imposed on russia.”

According to the prosecution, from March 2022 to June 2023, Eleview sent American goods and technology to russia through Kazakhstan, Turkey, and Finland. Customers in the aggressor country ordered products from American retailers online and sent them to the company's warehouse in Virginia. According to the indictment, the company intentionally misled the authorities and forwarding companies by reporting that the end users were not in russia but in other countries.

Thus, the defendants exported about $1.48 million worth of telecommunications equipment through Turkey, “knowing that it was intended for a russian telecommunications company” that cooperated with russian special services, the US Department of Justice claims.

Eleview sent about $3.45 million worth of products to russia through Finland, which can be used in the production of drones. Through Kazakhstan, the company exported $1.47 million worth of dual-use goods to russia. The defendants face up to 20 years in prison.
