Law enforcement authorities have seized the summer home of russian businessman Boris Alyoshin, who is under EU sanctions, in Kirkkonumma.
The arrest was made at the request of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in September. The court order seized two adjacent properties near Longwick with a total value of over EUR 2.5 million from Alyoshin.
The main property is a seaside cottage plot of about 1.6 hectares called Skogshidda. According to the land registry, Alyoshin paid EUR 2.3 million for this plot in 2018.
Two years later, the Ministry of Defense permitted Alyoshin to buy a neighboring plot for €250,000.
According to the decision of the debt collection agency, the real estate owned by Alyoshin cannot be pledged or destroyed without the permission of the bailiff.
In addition, the Insolvency Service has prohibited the bank from transferring the mortgage documents for the land plot it owns to anyone other than the enforcement agency.
