Zelensky signs sanctions against 147 russians and citizens of other countries

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy enacted the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine "On the Application of Personal Special Economic and Other Restrictive Measures" to sanction 147 citizens of the russian federation and other states associated with the russian federation.

 

The first sanctions list includes 60 individuals - citizens of the russian rederation, Ukraine, Cyprus, Belarus, Germany, Uzbekistan, Austria, and the United Kingdom.

 

In particular, the list includes:

 

- former NSDC Secretary Volodymyr Sivkovych, who is hiding in russia,

- Leonid Kharchenko, accused of the downing of Malaysian Airlines flight MH17,

- the so-called Human Rights Commissioner of the occupation administration of Donetsk region Daria Morozova,

- top managers of the USM Group companies of the russian oligarch Alisher Usmanov, Nazim Efendiyev, Vakhtang Kocharov and Valery Kazikayev,

- Natalia Davydova, wife of former USM CEO Ivan Streshinsky,

- Nathan Wiener, the son of Usmanov's wife Irina Wiener.

 

The second sanctions list includes 87 individuals - citizens of the russian federation.

 

Among them:

 

- Anatoly Chubais, former head of the russian presidential administration,

- Andrey Demin, commander of the air defense and missile defense forces and deputy chief of the russian Aerospace Forces,

- Alexei Kudrin, Chairman of the Accounts Chamber and former Minister of Finance of the russian federation,

- father, wife and son of Ukrainian collaborator Yevhen Balytsky,

- Chief Sanitary Doctor of Moscow Elena Andreeva,

- Alexander Dorofeev, general director of the Nizhny Novgorod company RemExStroy LLC,

- General Director of Galaktika LLC Alexander German.

 

All the individuals were subject to various sanctions ranging from 3 to 10 years. In most cases, they include blocking assets, deprivation of state awards, revocation of licenses, a ban on transit and trade operations in Ukraine, withdrawal of capital abroad, privatization, and land purchases.
