Ukraine receives first tranche of frozen assets from Canada

According to Denys Shmyhal, the government will use this money to meet the priority needs of the state budget.

"This is the first tranche from Canada, which has allocated a total of 5 billion Canadian dollars for Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration, which provides Ukraine with financial resources from the proceeds of frozen russian assets," the head of the Ukrainian government added.
