Ukraine and the Czech Republic agreed on the work of joint intergovernmental commissions in all directions, says Denys Shmyhal

Ukraine received clear messages of ongoing strong support from the Czech Republic in all spheres, announced Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal during a press conference with the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Fiala on the outcomes of the intergovernmental meetings in Kyiv on October 31.
"We reached an accord on the work of joint intergovernmental commissions in all directions, in particular in the direction of the development of our industrial, and scientific and technical cooperation. Joint initiatives and wishes for the urgent organization of the work of such intergovernmental commissions were voiced. Ukraine is interested in the development of cooperation in terms of sales in the EU, in particular on the Czech market, of steel products to replace the russian ones, which were on the European market before the introduction of the relevant sanctions," said Denys Shmyhal.
The Head of the Ukrainian Government noted the importance of the Czech Republic's support for the sanctions policy. According to him, during the consultations, the issue of confiscation of frozen russian assets to compensate for the destruction caused by russia in Ukraine was raised.
The government of the Czech Republic, in particular, supported the creation of an international tribunal to condemn the military and political leadership of the russian federation for the criminal war against our state.
According to the Prime Minister of Ukraine, military-technical cooperation with the Czech Republic is also gaining momentum: "Czech Dana self-propelled howitzers, tanks, BMPs and other aid are already contributing to the significant strengthening of the Ukrainian army and the liberation of Ukrainian lands. We do not stop there, we are preparing many unpleasant surprises for the aggressor."
