The government has set up a working group to recover frozen assets of the russian federation in favor of Ukraine

“Our position is clear and absolutely unchanged: all russian frozen assets must be fully confiscated and used to rebuild and strengthen the Ukrainian state. We are constantly working on this task. Today, we are establishing an Interagency Working Group on the use and recovery of frozen and confiscated russian sovereign assets in favor of Ukraine. We are also continuing to work on the development of an international compensation mechanism,” informed Denys Shmyhal.

He added that one of the key elements of Ukraine's financial stability is $50 billion from Ukraine's partners, which is secured by the proceeds of frozen russian assets. He reminded that we should get access to these funds this year.
