The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine has filed a lawsuit with the High Anti-Corruption Court to impose a sanction under paragraph 1-1 of part one of Article 4 of the Law of Ukraine “On Sanctions” on Oleksandr Viktorovych Kuzmenko. The lawsuit was filed on January 27.
The former director of the Municipal Institution of Specialized Art Education “Music School No. 4” of the Kherson City Council, during the temporary occupation of Kherson, Oleksandr Kuzmenko voluntarily agreed to cooperate with representatives of the aggressor state and took the position of the so-called “Minister of Culture of the Kherson region”. In addition, he publicly supported and disseminated the propaganda narratives of the aggressor state among the population of the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region.
The Ministry of Justice has declared assets owned directly and indirectly by the sanctioned person, namely a part of a house, a land plot and an apartment located in the government-controlled part of Kherson.
Collaboration with the enemy has its price. In the territory captured by the enemy, traitors can receive “positions” from the occupation authorities, but in free Ukraine, traitors must “pay their bills” with their property. The Ministry of Justice is systematically working to ensure that everyone who cooperated with the occupiers is held accountable for their choice. Justice will be restored: the property of collaborators will work for the restoration of the state.
