More than 100 cases of potential sanctions violations identified in Switzerland

The State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), which is responsible for implementing and monitoring sanctions, has registered a total of about 100 suspicious cases for verification.

 

So far, 23 cases have been opened, with the last two involving russia's ally Belarus.

 

In 13 cases, criminal proceedings were terminated due to lack of evidence, and another 60 cases are still being analyzed. It is forbidden to disclose the names of the individuals or companies involved.
