Nauseda advocated the transfer of frozen assets of the Russian Federation to Ukraine

The frozen assets of the Russian Federation should be transferred to Ukraine for reconstruction.


This was stated by the President of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda at the plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg.

In his opinion, the European Union should strengthen sanctions against Russia in order to deprive it of resources to continue the war against Ukraine. At the same time, Europe must do everything possible to bring those guilty of the crime of aggression against Ukraine to justice.
