The Russian Embassy said that Poland confiscated all the money from the diplomatic mission's accounts

The Russian ambassador to Poland, Sergey Andreev, said that the Polish authorities had withdrawn money from the accounts of the diplomatic mission and the trade mission of the Russian Federation.

As "European Pravda" reports, the ambassador said this in a comment to RIA "Novosti".

According to him, it is about significant funds that were in the accounts both in US dollars and in Polish zlotys. Andreev stated that this is a gross violation of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.

Warsaw previously froze the accounts of the Russian embassy after Russia's invasion of Ukraine due to suspicions of possible use for money laundering or terrorism.
