The Ministry of Justice of the aggressor country proposes to increase fines for three dozen economic crimes to cover inflation. The bill, however, has bonuses for companies that circumvent sanctions.
The russian Ministry of Justice has initiated a draft law that provides for a multiple increase in fines for 36 types of economic crimes. This decision is primarily provoked by inflation, which is no longer hidden by the authors of the bill.
It is reported that the fines will be “adapted to modern socio-economic realities,” and the punishment will correspond to the degree of public danger.
They need this not only to generate new budget revenues, as is openly stated, but also to increase the threshold for serious crimes. That is, to arrest and send everyone to the war,” noted Olha Romanova.
In addition, the same draft law plans to introduce fines for disclosing commercial banking secrets related to sanctions circumvention.
“You see, sanctions circumvention is now in the law! Accordingly, companies that circumvent sanctions are not just exempt from any penalties, but are also great achievers,” Romanova emphasized the absurdity.
