In 2024, UAH 2.5 billion of russian assets were recovered to the budget of Ukraine.

“UAH 2.5 billion of russian assets were recovered to the budget of Ukraine - this is one of the main results of the Ministry of Justice's work in 2024,” the statement said.

Among the achievements of the past year, the department also named

thousands of documented war crimes;

a web portal “Unified National Portal for Collecting Facts of Human Rights Violations” was created;

work on a special register for the protection of deported children began;

the Register of Damages started accepting applications for damaged property, forced displacement, death or disappearance of loved ones.

In addition, the Ministry of Justice named countering raiding, ratification of the Rome Statute, sanctions policy, etc. as achievements.
