Switzerland has fully joined the 15th package of EU sanctions against russia

These measures will come into force on February 13. Earlier, 54 individuals and 30 legal entities were added to the Swiss sanctions list against russia .

At its meeting on February 12, the Federal Council decided to adopt further measures of the 15th EU sanctions package against russia.

From now on, the restrictive measures prohibit the recognition and enforcement of certain decisions of russian courts in which they claim exclusive jurisdiction over disputes between russian and Swiss companies.

This prohibition is intended to protect the rights of Swiss companies and protect them from unjustified financial loss.

The amendments also include the extension of various exemption provisions that allow Swiss companies to withdraw investments from russia in an orderly manner.
