On February 24, 2024, the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine fully satisfied the claims of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine against Kirill Vyshynsky, a pro-russian propagandist.

Kyrylo Vyshynskyi is a former Ukrainian journalist who became a mouthpiece for kremlin propaganda and actively supported the occupation of Crimea and russia's armed aggression. For his activities, he received russian citizenship, state awards from the Kremlin and a place in the russian media system.

From 2006 to 2014, Vyshinsky worked for the russian TV channel rossiya-1 and was the correspondent of the all-russian state television and radio company in Ukraine. After the annexation of Crimea in 2014, he received the medal “For the Return of Crimea” and the Order of Merit for the Fatherland.

In 2018, the SBU notified him of suspicion of high treason and encroachment on the territorial integrity of Ukraine, and he was taken into custody. Subsequently, in 2019, K.V. Vyshensky was handed over to russia as part of a prisoner exchange program.

After that, Vyshensky became the executive director of the well-known media agency rossiya segodnya. He also became a member of the Presidential Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights, where he continued to promote Kremlin narratives.

In 2023, he spoke at a meeting of the UN Security Council, convened at the initiative of the russian federation, where he accused Ukraine of allegedly “russophobia” and persecution of russian-speaking citizens.

The court imposed a sanction on K.V. Vyshensky under paragraph 1-1 of part 1 of Article 4 of the Law of Ukraine “On Sanctions”, having confiscated assets owned by the sanctioned person, namely

- two real estate objects in Kyiv and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea

- two vehicles;

- 100% share in the authorized capital of INTERSELECT LLC;

- 100% of the share in the authorized capital of NOVOSTOKOM EXPERT LLC.

The court's decision has not yet entered into force, as the term for appeal is still ongoing.

The Ministry of Justice does not stop fighting for Ukraine's national interests and restoring justice.
