The key to peace in Ukraine: what is the role of frozen russian assets?

Donald trump has promised to end the war in Ukraine overnight, explaining that the US is unwilling to continue funding aid to Ukraine.
Trump suggested that with European financial support and the use of frozen russian foreign exchange reserves worth $300 billion, he could reach an agreement with volodymyr putin on favourable terms to end the conflict.
Experts believe that this approach would ensure continued support for Ukraine, strengthen the Western defence industry, and allow Trump to demonstrate his ‘peace through strength’ foreign policy strategy. However, this plan would require the agreement of all parties involved and significant coordination efforts.
However, this prospect is a cause for concern not only in Ukraine, but also in the European Union and the United Kingdom. An agreement that would weaken Kyiv's position could jeopardise Europe's security.
