The United States will provide Ukraine with $15 billion secured by future income from frozen russian assets.
According to Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, the relevant agreement was signed by the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance and the World Bank.
“These will be funds under the PEACE in Ukraine project and part of the US contribution of $20 billion under the G7 initiative, which will be used for social and humanitarian spending,” the Prime Minister explained.
He thanked the United States and the World Bank for implementing and supporting the initiative, which makes russia pay for its aggression against Ukraine.
